Warped Tour Loves Ohio So Much, It Stays For Two Days!
Last week, Vans Warped Tour made its way through Pennsylvania and Ohio, stopping in the Buckeye State for Cuyahoga Falls and Cincinnati, with a pit stop in Cleveland for this year's Alt Press APMA Awards, as well (The Alternative Press is home-based in Cleveland). Ohio is a hot spot for music, and we're proud to house so many great artists, venues and outlets in one area.
This year, the main lineup for Warped Tour included Ohio artists Hawthorne Heights, Andy Black and Beartooth, as well as Pennsylvania artists Anti Flag, Carousel Kings, CKY and Eternal Boy. In the Western PA stop for Warped, the lineup also included WV's Riviera. Several acts on tour with Van's also include individual local members, such as blessthefall's Elliott Gruenberg. Not too far from home, also featured were Baltimore's War on Women and Richmond, VA's GWAR.
Every year, we look forward to seeing what artists Vans has collected to share with us on Warped Tour. It's always a great collection of rock, dance, party, punk and other loved genres of modern music (with some throwbacks, too), and we always find new music to love in the mix of some of our current favorites. If you've yet to go to Warped, be prepared to have access to 70+ bands on 5 (6, if you count the tent stage) stages, happening all around you, from every direction. Always something great to hear, discover and dance to. Can't wait 'til 2018!
