WV's TideFall has a single out, which will be part of an upcoming EP.
Tidefall’s “Control” is an able exercise in the aural aesthetic of the early 2000s, so much so that if you heard it without knowing it was new, you'd swear it was mainstream rock radio fodder from the Rock on the Range-type bands (like the aforementioned Chevelle or Alter Bridge) that continue to tour and draw substantial crowds. Earnest, anthemic and melodic, “Control” offers a double serving of compressed, crunchy guitars and “My Own Prison”-style lyrics. Find a late model Chevy Cavalier, a Mountain Dew Big Slam, burn this MP3 to a mix CD featuring various bands Scott Stapp was in, and ride off into the nostalgia sunset with the stereo cranked. Who says you can't go home again?
